Cybersecurity researchers have disclosed details of four vulnerabilities in Dify, an open-source agentic workflow platform with more than 146,000 GitHub stars, that could allow attackers to stealthily read artificial intelligence (AI) conversions from other customers' applications without requiring authentication

AutoJack: How a single page can RCE the host running your AI agent

AutoJack is a novel exploit chain showing how a single malicious webpage can turn an AI browsing agent into a remote code execution vector on the host machine. By abusing trust in localhost, missing authentication, and unsafe parameter handling, attackers can trigger arbitrary process execution through AutoGen Studio’s MCP WebSocket. The research highlights a broader pattern - when agents can browse untrusted content and access local services, traditional boundaries like localhost are no longer secure. Startup Targets Incumbents Doing Directories, Authentication, Federation and SSONewCore, founded by Dome9 creator Zohar Alon, emerged from stealth with $66 million to build security-first identity infrastructure designed to manage the explosion of autonomous AI agents, machine identities and cryptographic credentials expected across modern enterprises.

Fraudsters Tokenize Stolen Cards Into Attacker WalletsGoogle Threat Intelligence Group warned that Chinese-language phishing-as-a-service platforms are using AI, encrypted messaging and real-time OTP interception to bypass multifactor authentication and provision stolen payment cards into attacker-controlled digital wallets worldwide.

Exposed UIs, weak authentication, and risky defaults could turn cloud-native AI apps on Kubernetes into potential targets by threat actors. Learn how exploitable misconfigurations lead to RCE and data leaks. Every AI tool, workflow automation, and productivity app your employees connected to Google or Microsoft this year left something behind: a persistent OAuth token with no expiration date, no automatic cleanup, and in most organizations, no one watching it. Your perimeter controls don't see it. Your MFA doesn't stop it. And when an attacker gets hold of one, they don't need a password

CEO suspects silicon sidekick behind 'surprising velocity' breach - cyber crims shop stolen data for $2M Vercel's CEO reckons the crooks behind its recent breach likely had a helping hand from AI, saying the attackers moved with "surprising velocity" and a deep understanding of the company's infrastructure.…

Vercel Traces Customer Data Theft to Agentic AI Tool Breach

Attacker First Compromised AI Tool Used by Vercel Employee, Platform Provider FindsCloud platform provider Vercel said an attacker breached its systems and stole customer data after compromising a third-party agentic artificial intelligence tool used by an employee, called Context.ai, and stealing from it credentials and OAuth tokens tied to multiple services and customers.

Blames outfit called Context.ai, which reckons an agentic OAuth tangle caused the incident Vercel, the company that created the open source Next.js web development framework, has a data leak that led to compromise of some customer credentials, and blamed an outfit called Context.ai for the mess.…

Another Thursday, another pile of weird security stuff that somehow happened in just seven days. Some of it is clever. Some of it is lazy. A few bits fall into that uncomfortable category of “yeah… this is probably going to show up in real incidents sooner than we’d like.” The pattern this week feels familiar in a slightly annoying way. Old tricks are getting polished. New research shows how

Fraud Specialist David Barnhardt on Addressing Authentication Risks of Agentic AIFinancial institutions are racing to deploy AI agents that can initiate payments, approve transactions and freeze accounts. But traditional authentication frameworks assume there's a human on the other end. As agentic AI use grows, banks are facing an authentication crisis that demands new controls.

Moltbook Gave Everyone Control of Every AI Agent

Database Misconfiguration Exposed 1.5 million API TokensA misconfigured database at Moltbook, the viral social network for AI agents, exposed 1.5 million API authentication tokens, 35,000 email addresses and private messages. Security researchers discovered unauthenticated read and write access to all platform data within days of launch.
